The purpose of this module is to help you to work methodically, in order to compile a scientific document to support your particular research topic/area of interest. This is a very necessary process as it prepares you for your next level in psychology, namely Masters and Doctorate, which both require you to submit a thesis. Please do not be misled by this module, as even though there is not an exam for this module, it is still extremely time consuming and challenging. Your completed article is due at the beginning of October.
The module consists of a number of research projects. The project titles are listed in Tutorial Letter 101, but the full descriptions and project guidelines are provided in Tutorial Letters 102, 103 and 104. The prescribed material required for projects is indicated with the project description in Tutorial Letters 102 and 103. Each project has its own prescribed material. You will need to choose one of these projects and conduct the research, in order to compile a research report.
